Feet are FUN!

Jackson found his feet a couple weeks ago and ever since then he has not let them go...especially during bathtime and at diaper changes : )

Who needs toys when you can have so much fun with your feet : )

Cereal!

At Jackson's 4 month appt we were given the go-ahead to start cereal if we wanted. Since Jackson still wasn't sleeping through the night consistently we decided try cereal and see if it helped. Between that and moving him to his 'big boy' bed in his own room it seems to be working! He's made it till at least 530 am for the past week and then goes back to sleep till at least 8 after he eats in the morning : ) At first he didn't quite know what to think of it, but now he's ready for every bite!

What are you feeding me Daddy?!?!

I'm a mess!

Okay this cereal stuff isn't too bad!

Here let me clean my face : )

Getting Our Christmas Tree!!!

It was a beautiful day last Sunday when we went to cut down our Christmas tree! Jackson and Bentley were both excited to come with us and pick one out : ) Bentley wasn't so sure about the tractor/hayride at first, but eventually he settled down and enjoyed the ride.

Jackson was all bundled up and tucked inside my coat, so he stayed nice and toasty : )
Gerrad and Bentley dragging the tree to the tractor pick-up spot.

Our family with our tree waiting to be picked up.

Jackson even had his picture taken with Santa!

I'm Four Months Old!

It truely amazes me how much Jackson changes from month to month! He rolls over all the time now...still only from his tummy to his back though. He is getting really good at reaching for toys and grabbing them....and of course bringing them to his mouth! He can hold a rattle for a long time too! At his 4 month appt he weighed 14 lbs 4 oz, and was 24 1/4 inches.

One of his favorite things to do is take a bath. Lately his new trick is to try and drink his bath water...so gross! We will sit him up straight, and instantly he opens his mouth and leans to the side to take a gulp. Crazy boy : )

It was fun to sit in the rocking horse at Grandma's house!
Man am I cute!!!!

Bronner's and Thanksgiving

Well, I'm finally getting around to posting again! It has been awhile! We've been very busy these last few weeks. The weekend before Thanksgiving we took Jackson to meet up with his grandparents at Frankenmuth. We shopped at Bronners and then went and had a big dinner at the Bavarian Inn. Jackson loved looking at all the lights and ornaments at Bronners. So much to take in there!

Thanksgiving was a fun and busy day. We got together with the Donker clan for lunch and hung out with them for the afternoon. Jackson and Zion had fun playing together. They are going to be best buds growing up!

Are they cute or what. Zion put his arm around Jackson all by himself!

At night we met up with the Snyder side of Gerrad's family at his parents house. Jackson finally got to meet his new cousin Ella!

Loving Tummy Time!

Jackson is really starting to enjoy being on his tummy. He loves to look at and "talk" to his giraffe : ) It is sooo cute! He even recently rolled over! Gerrad was even home to see and we got a little video of it as well : )

Jackson also enjoys watching t.v. with his daddy...he is a t.v. junkie! We've had to turn it off at times when he is eating because he gets so distracted!

Hugging his giraffe...he sure does love him!

Beautiful Pictures!

Here are some pictures that a good friend of mine took for us! They turned out amazing...now to choose which ones to put on our walls....not going to be easy to narrow it down!

Happy Halloween!

We have the cutest little monkey around! Jackson loved dressing up in his monkey costume!

Jackson and Zion put their costumes on for Grandma and Grandpa Donker two weeks before Halloween so we could get pictures of them together : )

Grandpa didn't want his two little guys to be the only ones dressed up so he put on a goofy hat : )

mommy and her monkey : )

Zion had had it with all the pictures...Jackson could have cared less : )

Being a monkey must be hard work!

Mommy and Jackson getting ready to go "trick or treating"...well actually we just visited a couple of our neighbors so they could see Jackson in his costume : )

Daddy did you just eat my candy?!?!?

3 Months Old!!!!

Where has the time gone?!?! We can't believe Jackson is 3 months old! He is getting so fun : ) He loves to stand up in your lap and "talk" to us, or look around. He is starting to giggle, but sometimes he makes himself cough cause he inhales when laughing...so cute : ) He really enjoys playing on his playmat and is now starting to reach for and grab the toys that hang from it!

Jackson also LOVES his bathtime! We usually let him sit in the water and splash a little after he's done getting cleaned up...if we don't he gets a little mad at us! He's a good eater...as evidenced by his big belly : ) Gerrad and I are enjoying his longer sleep stretches during the night. He's been sleeping till sometime between 4 and 6 most nights. As a result we are getting really close to moving him into his own room! Overall he is a really happy baby and we feel very blessed to have such a wonderful little boy!

Fun Raking Leaves!

Jackson has had lots of fun watching mom rake leaves many times this fall already! Mom can't wait till he's big enough to help out : )

Bentley has been a good protector of his little brother. He sits by him and makes sure no squirrels come near him : )

Go GREEN!!!

We had a GREAT time watching the spartans today with our friends Eric, Teresa, and Benjamin! We were all dressed in our MSU gear. Minus a slight scare towards the end of the 4th quarter causing them to go into overtime it was a super FUN game to watch : ) Hopefully it's a sign of good things to come the rest of the season! Go STATE!!!

Our little spartan fans!

Go Tigers!

Jackson went to his first Tigers game today! We were hoping he would be their good luck charm and they would clinch the division but no such luck : ( He still had a great time though! We were so proud of him for how good he was during the whole game. He mainly slept but did wake up to eat and cheer them on for a little while : )Waiting in line with daddy to get the tickets
trying to stay awake and watch the game : )

feeling good after eating and ready to cheer on the Tigers some more : )
