July 4th and more Cottage

This summer sure is a hot one and I love it! It made for a PERFECT day at the beach on the 4th of July! We had a ton of fun playing in the water which was a perfect temperature!

 After the beach we headed up to the cottage for the rest of the week. It was the best weather we have had up there in a LONG time! The water was warm and we were in it ALL day! Jackson got to go on the jetski with Grandpa for the first time and LOVED it!

Father's Day Weekend

We had a fun weekend with our family for Father's day. On Saturday Jerry and Suzie came out to spend the day and we had fun filling up our pool and trying it out for a brief moment since the water was freezing! On Sunday my family all made the trek out and went to church with us and hung out for the day. It rained until the middle of the afternoon but we were able to get outside and play for a bit before they all had to head back to Grand Rapids.

Summer '12 fun!

Memorial Weekend '12

We headed up to the cottage on the Friday before Memorial Day. The boats and docks were not yet in the water so, we spent the day just hanging out and relaxing.

 On Saturday we headed up to Burt Lake State Park to hang out with the Donker clan. We were definitely taking over the park with around 50 of us there! The boys wasted no time headed down to the water to throw sand....does that ever get old?!? :)
